Tell me, I’ll forget.
Show me, I may remember.
Involve me, and I’ll understand.
Chinese Proverb
When we create an interaction-rich learning environment where the participants are enjoying the experience, we can both deepen and accelerate learning in addition to impacting long term memory. In doing so, we also encourage an atmosphere of team play and inspire the sharing of ideas. This strengthens communicative skills for personal development and builds self-confidence.
Learners laugh, and break out of their perceived learning limitations through play. Skillfully designed programs create an atmosphere which makes play appropriate, acceptable and desirable, and eliminates the danger of appearing silly, or the idea that it is a useless waste of time.
What are the 3 main keys to making this work for you?
Tell me, I’ll forget.
Show me, I may remember.
Involve me, and I’ll understand.
